Northside Property Inspections provides Pre-Purchase Building & Pest Inspection Reports, Pre-Settlement Defects Reports on new buildings, Technical Reports on defective building matters and General Building Advice.

Northside Property and pest Inspections are undertaken and written by Don Wood, the reports are not contracted out to other parties. So when you order a Pre-Purchase Building and Pest Report you can be satisfied that Don Wood is the inspector you will be dealing with. Don is a fully licenced NSW Builder – 40343, has a certificate in Urban Pest Control and is a licenced Building Consultant – BC181.  Northside Property Inspections is owned and operated by Don Wood.

Northside Property Inspections does not claim to be the best and offer you it all. What we will do is provide you with a through inspection of the building and give you a report which is fair, honest and easy to read. Photographs are included in the reports helping to understand the building problems. Don also ensures that you fully understand what you are buying through verbal communication.

After 12 years undertaking Pre-Purchase Building and Pest Inspections, Northside Property Inspections is one Company that can honestly say it has never had a claim againsed it, this is something that we will always aim to keep intact. There is unlikely to be many individuals or Companies that can make that claim. Northside Property Inspections believe that this stems from age, experience in this type of business and with the attitude that the inspection will take as long as necessary to provide you with the accurate information needed to make a decision on the property.

Northside Property Inspections has recently purchased the Report Master software program which now enables Don to electronically enter all the building defects on site thus enabling the reports to be emailed to the client later that evening or early the following morning.

You may wonder why there can be quite a difference in pricing between Companies offering a Pre-Purchase Building and Pest Report. Quite simply as people are different, so are the reports. It is basically based on how experienced the inspector is and how much time he is prepared to spend on the inspection. This doesn’t mean to say the more expensive the report is the more detailed the report will be, however you can bet a cheap report will certainly be lacking in detail, the old saying you get what you pay for.
